Who we are
We are a team of senior infrastructure and security engineers who spent years building and protecting critical systems across Eastern Europe — before relocating to North America in 2022.
The story
Before February 2022, our team operated across Ukraine and the broader Eastern European region — building infrastructure for municipal governments, backbone network providers, healthcare systems, and enterprise clients running geo-distributed operations. These weren't development environments or pilot deployments. They were live, critical systems carrying real operational weight.
When Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022, it came with one of the most sophisticated coordinated cyber campaigns in recorded history. Satellite communications were taken down. Wiper malware hit government and enterprise infrastructure simultaneously. Power and telecom networks were targeted. Our engineers were in the middle of it — keeping client systems operational, migrating workloads under pressure, and making architecture decisions in conditions where the margin for error was zero.
Every client we were responsible for remained operational.
In 2022, the core team relocated to North America — Canada and the United States. We didn't leave the work behind. We brought the experience with us. The threats that defined our practice in Eastern Europe are increasingly present in North American infrastructure. We know what they look like from the inside.

Serhii spent 16 years designing and securing enterprise infrastructure across Ukraine, Eastern Europe, and globally — before relocating to Canada in 2022. His background spans municipal government IT, backbone network architecture, healthcare infrastructure, IoT deployments, and enterprise security across multiple jurisdictions.
In 2019, Serhii co-designed and deployed Kyiv's citywide LoRaWAN IoT sensor network in partnership with Actility — coverage planning, network architecture, and sensor integration from zero to full urban scale. The project remains one of the largest municipal IoT deployments in Eastern Europe.
During the February 2022 invasion, Serhii and his team kept client infrastructure operational through coordinated nation-state cyberattacks, physical infrastructure disruption, and zero-warning incident conditions. That experience — not the certifications — is the foundation of how IITCON approaches infrastructure resilience.
Serhii also leads the Open Findings Notifier project — a passive tool that surfaces exposed vulnerabilities using publicly available data sources, and delivers discreet notifications to affected Canadian organisations at no cost. The findings are sourced entirely from information accessible to anyone with a browser — including the people you'd rather not have looking. Supply chain integrity is a reason we keep this low-profile.
Serhii holds ISACA's CISM, (ISC)²'s SSCP, Cisco's CCNP Security, and several additional certifications — all publicly verifiable on Credly. He abides by ISACA and (ISC)² codes of professional ethics.

The team
IITCON operates with a focused team of 13 senior engineers across five practice areas. No account managers, no junior bench. The people who scope your work are the people who do it. The same engineers work a 20-seat clinic and a national grid — we don’t staff down by account size.
Team members are not publicly listed by name — standard practice for a security-adjacent firm. Introductions happen at the right stage of the engagement conversation.
No sales process. You talk to an engineer from the first conversation.
